Choose from a sumptuous menu featuring many local dishes. Our long serving team in the kitchen works use fresh, locally grown produce and ingredients to create for you typically South Tyrolean and Mediterranean meals.
Our recommendations of the day almost invariably include the specialities of the season.
- Hence you’ll find all kinds of variations on asparagus in spring,
- exquisite mushroom and chanterelle dishes in summer
- and delicious venison and game to cheer your palate in autumn.
- For your afternoon coffee and chat we offer a large selection of home-made flans as well as delicious strudels and cakes.
The delightful sun deck offers wonderful views of South Tyrol’s mountains. In the evenings, too, this is just the right place for a romantic candlelight dinner for two.
You’ll find a great choice of top South Tyrolean and Italian wines for pampered palates in our current wine list. An enormous range of cocktail creations is also meticulously described in our cocktail menu.
On hot summer days cool yourself down with our delicious, home-made sundaes made with fresh fruits, whipped cream or chocolate sauce. Our home-made ice creams range from vanilla, chocolate, nut, cinnamon, pistachio, banana, stracciatella to tiramisu and strawberry right down to lemon and melon, etc.
Our location is absolutely perfect! So if you’re planning to go on a motorbike tour across the Passo del Giovo, treat yourself by stopping off at our restaurant. You certainly won’t regret it!
For coach parties and other travel groups the Kalcherhof restaurant is the right place for
- breakfast buffet for up to 130 people
- lunch menus at attractive fixed prices
- afternoon coffee with cakes
- or for evening menus with several courses.
We not only have space for about 100 people in our dining room: our sun deck can also seat up to a further 150 guests. We would be pleased to make you a special offer for your particular group in the case of multiple course meals and with regard to drink arrangements. You and your group are also warmly invited to join in and enjoy the traditional ‘Törggelen’ celebrations we hold in autumn.
